What comes into your mind when you hear the word "random"? Perhaps you'll think about something happy-go-lucky, something easy-going or something having no definite outcome. Well, trust me on this one. . . The authors over at Random Encounters of We are not your regular bloggers. They're so fond of the word, they named their blogs after it! See Random Games and Random SuperHeroes.
They have been blogging since last year and i have to tell you, they have come a long way. They earned a respectable PR 4 and Alexa Rank of 695,365 as of now. And guess what? Theyre not just going to stop there. Theyre employing contests, exchanges, and well, paid posts which i think are just some of the recipe for their success.
On the other side of the coin, i have some notable contructive criticisms for this blog. The colors used is not that convenient for the eyes especially when its glaring; green background with black for fonts is not very efficient. Furthermore, there is no information about the author page. The readers need to have a glimpse of the author's interests and background to be able to relate and sympathize with the author. And finally, this is not a prime requirement but it would help if the authors would make/construct an image or symbol will represent their niche. Since they have "random" as their niche, a stylishly designed "R" would do the trick. This may be used in the favicon and the technorati profile pic for better "branding" of their blogs. Think about the check mark of nike.
That's it! I hope you learned a thing or two from the blog featured today. Just remember to always Feed Your Greed!
I was doing my usual blog hopping this morning and i've seen the usual so so's-- some new blogs, the same old bigtime blogs keep making themselves rich, and some small scale blogs gradually dying a natural death (I hope this dont happen to mine). But I saw one thing that urged me to post about it.
Currently, i have 23 fans on this blog and out of those 23, ive only favorited like 10 or 12 of them. Why? Because it simply takes time to find out whos the newest one who favorited you. Well, consider this problem a part of history. I found out a program that would do all this for you. I found it over at InternetDuctTape and i think it was a great find. . .
Here's how it works:

It almost felt like the PathoPhysiology i work on over when i do my Nursing Reports. haha! Anyhow, the image pretty much sums up everything up. I tried it personally and it worked like a charm. Great work EngTech! Download the tool here.
There are things in life that are better off changed for the greater good. Its not very likely, but i have to say one of these is your blog template.
As you might have noticed, i changed my blog template. At first look, it doesnt seem like its a blogger blog at all. They say, Content is King and yes, i couldnt agree more. But one thing they miss out is the way the template should present itself. To get your readers to stay, they need a break from the usual minima and rounders that seem to infect most of the blogs.
Dont get me wrong. . . Content is the first one to be noticed like Mike Perry's blog; its so generic, the only thing he changed was the font! but look at him now, he earns more weekly than what my dad earns in two. Will this change affect my blog? Only time and earnings will tell. So, i should say. . .
If content is king, layout is queen!
I wanna give a shoutout to Lady for the tip. Hey! you still have to teach me a bit more about the html codings. haha!

If you've been constantly looking to make money online, im sure you have heard about Agloco and the buzz it created on the blogosphere and the internet in general. I heard about it when I visited the ever clamoring JohnChow and well, he enticed me to join. Darn you John!
As the months passed, my frustrations overshadowed my interest and you know how enthusiastic i am when it comes to making money online. Ive listed my problems, browse through them and maybe youll sympathize with me. If you experienced more problem, youre welcome to let me know by a comment.
- Toolbar simply doesnt work - The toolbar is not displaying any ads. This happened to me a gazilllion times already and completely burned my interest into ashes. As they noted, they pay everyone through the revenues that the ads make. A simple logic would arise a question. How can anyone generate enough revenue if in the first place, the ads dont work or not displaying correctly?
- It doesnt count the hours correctly - If youre keen enough, you shouldve noticed this a century ago. At first, i decided to wait for sometime for them "register" the hours i spent but guess what? It never came. My hours remained stagnant.
- It takes too long for the page to load - If you ever would like to spend your precious living moments on this earth worthwhile, i suggest you run as far as possible away of Agloco website. They take eternity to load!
- No such thing as free dinner - Did i say that right? haha! Well, people have been telling me this phrase (well, not exactly free dinner) over and over again but i kept on insisting it will work. But i projected, if Agloco still is shaky today after years of preparation for the toolbar, the time when they would generate enough to pay everyone is when i would already quit my job and turn to blogging. You can just imagine how long this will take. haha!
Im going to leave you on a high note here, you might ask. . . What if Agloco will work after all? Well, youre always welcome to come back to my blog, scream at me and strangle my neck if ever i convinced you to stop Agloco. Afterall, i have my top 3% to brag about. . .haha! Im much more evilER than JohnChow!
Have you ever experienced a week that seem to feel like its sucking the life out of you? Well, i just had mine. This week has been pretty hectic for me. Its hard when you want to maintain a blog in and deal with school at the same time, but its even harder when you want to get your blog in its superb shape and get a reputable grade at the same time.
Though my time for this blog on this week was pretty low, I did have an interested advertiser. Yes, you heard me right. . With the small traffic and close to negligible readers this blog generates yet, an advertiser is interested on placing ads on this blog. Well, I should say that blogging for money is not that hard afterall. ;)
Ive got a few sponsored posts from sponsoredreviews and blogsvertise this week and also, my Smorty is sending me money through paypal but i dont have an account yet. Im still trying to work things out with Lady and hopefully, things will work out well.
Im working on another pillar post so do wait for that one. Another thing! this mouse is bugging me! I dont know what happened but theres something in sensor-controlled mouse that's crappy, might as well buy another one but this time, the one with a mouse ball. . .
Gain More Traffic by Writing Guest Posts
Posted by NurseJake Labels: Blogging tips, increase traffic, writing guest postsThis is a fact that we consider as our golden rule in blogging. Its like pouring all your emotions in to a poem that you feel so strongly about and yet, nobody reads it. How do you intend people to appreciate it if no one sees it?
That's why im not a fan of making diaries. Theyre completely a waste of time. Id rather appear on National TV and talk about how I feel to let others know it and why i feel like it. This is way better than writing on a piece of paper and let history consume it.
Ive previously written about getting more traffic to a blog or site and to put it plainly, It never did the job (that well at least). After a month of existence, i came to retire to the notion that blog directories just dont give you sufficient traffic to make money online. I only apply to some of the high-ranked blog directories for PR purposes only and the traffic generated from them are nothing more than mere bonuses. So, i tried a better approach in making it big on traffic.
Ive read some interesting articles about this topic and when i knew that one of my most visited blogs, CarlOcab, is hosting a guest post feature, i didnt have second thoughts about giving it a go.
So i made my research rituals prior to making the post, gathered ideas from friends and made my post. It's entitled "How Paris Hilton Taught People to Earn Money Online" and you can check it out here. If you have any comments about this post, give me a high five, a critic, or a choke on the neck by commenting on this post. Let me know what you think. And you know, im gradually becoming a fan of healthy criticisms.
After my first day, i decided to make a post of it and well, here it goes. Based from the ever reliable Google Analytics, my visits increased up to two folds my regular visits for the last five days. Now if your a blogger, you know your going somewhere rewarding when you get these kind of stats. Here's the illustration of my recent visits:

As you can see, the effect of this single post on another blog causes a dramatic increase in your traffic and what's so rewarding about it is that, its a continuous stream that would last as long as the other blog would exist. Thanks to the inventor of archiving. So you can expect this to be on a pattern for days. As time would pass, this will continue to generate traffic to you though not as dramatic on the first day. I will analyze the stats after a week or so and get back to you on what happened.
I should say that making guest posts is an effective way of increasing your blog traffic. Its like hitting two birds with one stone: you get traffic from the blog and as a bonus, you also get a backlink to your site. Now imagine if you write like 3 or 4 guest posts a month to well known blogs, just imagine how your blog would grow by each month and how much traffic you will get. That only means more $$$!
Just note that what you submit as your post would tell much about you and your blog. So make sure its a post well-written and well prepared for. I humbly accept this mistake when i made this first guest post. But its an experience to grow up with and the next time I submit one, you can be 100% sure its flawless. I suggest you avoid making the mistake i did by putting more effort on editing and re-editing.
Thats it! I hope you enjoy this post and do come back for more tips from Kirbitz.
This post is just to tell my blogging friends in my blogroll that im transferring the list over to another page. This is to make a better looking sidebar. I think it would be beneficial for everyone since it gets to be added on my top menu itempage and labelled as "My Blogroll". This way, readers and visitors will be more aware of it.
Im going to make this a temporary change. After a month or so, i will evaluate it if it served its purpose. And if not, im going to work things out.
Im still in the painstaking process of tweaking my template. Its tough if you only know the very basic of html. But well see how it looks like.
If you want to have a link-exchange with Kirbitz, this blog is open to everyone without particular preference. . Just contact me.

Posted by NurseJake Labels: Blog directories, Blogging tips, money 2007Its been exactly one month and 3 days since i started blogging for money online. I can vividly remember my very first post. I mentioned "i dont know where im heading. . . but time will tell". Comparing the way i post a month ago and the way i do now, alot of bloggers tell me, ive grown. Thanks for the flattery guys!
Personally, i really think this is because of my exposure to alot of things on the internet and blogging in particular. I saw different styles of writing, different presentation of ideas, and i couldnt help myself but get influenced.
Ive put up ads, signed up for numerous money makers (you can see them on my sidebar), posted sponsored posts and alot more! I told myself that credibility will be a virtue on my blog and because of this, you wont see any untested, unconfirmed and unreliable money-making ways posted here unless i experienced it first hand. So, do visit me often if you want to know tested ways to earn money online. I suggest you subscribe via e-mail so it would be alot easier for you.
My new Plan of Action for this month.
I have too much things to think about for this month but ill start to carry out the more feasible ones first.
- Complete 100 backlinks requirement - My goal for this month is to complete the 100 backlinks requirement of Google to be ranked. So, if you think Kirbitz is worth linking to, just contact me at your earliest convenience and help me attain this goal.
- Make more guest posts - Some of you might be from the blog of Carlo of Carlocab. I made a guest post there and so far, this has been beneficial to my blog. So for my second month, im planning to make more guest posts to my fellow bloggers if y time permits. So if you want me to be a guest poster to your blog, again, Contact me at your earliest convenience. Id love to hear from you.
- Change Layout - Now this i think is more complicated than the two preceding ones. I need to analyze what my readers really like and what they prefer more. This has to be double function, it has to be pleasing to the eye, yet be beneficial ads-wise. So, watch out what happens.
- More traffic - Traffic is something that i havent had enough of in my first month. At first, its a little dissapointing but i learned its normal for every blog. Afterall, i havent engaged in any monetary interventions to increase my traffic nor do i intend to in the future. This blog will continue to exist until both my readers and me will have benefits from each other.
- Find more money making ways - This is so obvious that i had second thoughts of including this one at all. But just for the record, i have been doing this and will continue doing so in the coming months.
That's it! I plan to have this implemented this month. Actually i have many more to mention but as I said, i focused more on the short-term ones. So, if you want to support kirbitz, Just visiting often is already a big help. And to those who have been loyally with kirbitz, My sincerest gratitude to you. See you again on the 19th next month! Just remember, if you want to make money online, dont forget to FEED YOUR GREED!
Filipino food chain Jollibee advertising on MSN Messenger. Are you kidding me?
Posted by NurseJake Labels: earn money quick, fast, jollibee, money 2007Ive just noticed this a while ago while checking out MSN. Its very seldom that i use it but the ads below the window really gets my attention and when i got to use it earlier. Low and behold. I noticed this very familiar tagline.
I could only stand in awe and admiration to this company. Ever since i was a child, i never even gave Mcdonalds a chance against them. I always love the chickenjoy and the swirly bitz. This is another reason that my blog is named as such. Kirbitz and Swirly Bitz-- Does all the difference!

For all of you guys who dont know Jollibee, its the number one food chain in the Philippines and well, Mcdonalds is not far behind. This ad jsut goes to show that this food chain is out to conquer more barriers, more boundaries. Much like what Kirbitz is doing now. With shear effort and dedication, we can do this!
Risen a million Alexa ranking overnight! How did i do it?
Posted by NurseJake Labels: alexa, alexa ranking, improve alexa ranking, legitimateOk now, as a blogger, you always have this GREED to get your blog the highest rank possible. And as we venture into this topic, we always hear of three giant entities--Google PageRank, Technorati and Alexa.
It is without the slightest doubt in my mind that the third one, Alexa gets the lowest emphasis and is the most underrated among the three. Any reactions? I'd love to hear it. . . ^-^![]()
Yesterday, i was trying so hard to get insights about this seemingly unobstructive idea yet bothers me alot. Perhaps because of me being so intuitive, i found tentative solutions, different opinions on how to improve alexa ranking. I learned all together and devised my own way of going about it. And just this morning. . . Bo0m! It worked!
How did I do it?
- Download Alexa Toolbar - This includes related links, traffic trend, reach meter and traffic rank. For no definite reason, this is a big part of getting your blog "initiated" in the Alexa World. Furthermore, this tool comes in handy in following up your progress.
- Embed Alexa Widget - This counts every visit that your blog has. It also counts your visits to your own blog. So, your ranking would not be very stagnant for a long period of time. As you can see, mine is in the lowest part of my sidebar so it wouldn't be very obstructive.
- Content is King - Ive said is before and i will say it once more. The essence of each blog is content. All others-- layout, links, adverts, they are all negligible compared to your content. A blog with a good content is learned, its not born with your blog. Dont worry, there's alot of time to improve.
- Links, links & more links! - Links to your blog helps you in two ways. Its value as a link that contributes to your PR further, and traffic-wise, the more links you have, the more quality visitors you will be having. Thus, an increase with Alexa Ranking.
One. Your blog's ranking is one of the things that advertisers look for in a blog. If you get a higher ranking of the 3 giant names mentioned above, this will guarantee you of a sweet spot in the advertiser's heart. ;)
Two. Personally, i joined sponsoredreviews, they have an individual ranking for each blog that enters them. Just yesterday, I only got 1 check mark on my Alexa and 3 on technorati. When i checked earlier, I got 2 already! Now, im just waiting for offers. hmmm. . . $$$!
Three. The possibilities are endless! As i mentioned above, Feed Your Greed!
If only i knew this just a month ago just when i started blogging, I couldnt imagine how my blog would be doing right now. Lucky you! if you just started your blog. . .
Carl the Kid Blogger
Posted by NurseJake Labels: carlocab, kid blogger, legitimate online earning, reviewCarl, is just another next door filipino teen whom according to Freud's theory, is still on his Phallic stage. He goes to school just like any other high-school kid, plans to play in a band, mingles well with others. But what sets him apart from all the other kids out there, you ask? He is The Kid Blogger. The youngest online earner!
Inspired by the works of his dad, he turned into blogging after failing the first time. He started his site back from Feb 4, '07 and he was 13! Yes you heard me right, the very first teen year. I couldnt even imagine myself being infront of the PC all the time. Heck, i didnt even know what a weblog was when i was 12! (im 19 now).
Get this, he even got featured on a National newspaper in the Philippines! now, can you top that?.
He's made alot of distinguished posts already. But the one i like his post about traffic generation. Hop by his blog and youll be amazed how carl, now 14, made it to the pinnacle of Blogging success.

Are you greedy? Get smorty!

Recently, i made a post about August Activities of Kirbitz, and if youve read about it, Smorty is not included in the list. This is primarily because my request for membership has been denied when i signed up just a week ago.
When i opened my e-mail just a moment ago, ive had the usual e-mails from programs, link exchanges and stuff like that. Much to my surprise, Smorty was there. Low and behold. . . Kirbitz got Accepted! And that means more earnings for Kirbitz.
I figured i will have a short review about Smorty just so my much valued readers will know what it's all about. So here it goes. . .
Smorty is a get paid to blog program much like Payperpost and blogsvertise but with an edge. The site design is simple yet elegant and direct to the point. Much to the liking of most readers. There's no doubt they have been rising along rankings recently. Expect them to rise in the coming weeks.
After i clicked the confirmation link, i have been taken to my "dashboard". And there awaits two, yes you heard it right, 2! opportunities waiting for me. And guess what, they pay $6 each. Now hows a $12 starting fee sound like? One was about Smorty and the other is about commerce. And yes, im getting paid for writing this post. ;) Plus, they emphasized in their front page, "Get paid to blog weekly". So, if you want to get paid for blogging, This is certainly a big step towards your dream earnings.

Making money online is one hard work. Its not just your usual, typical walk in the park endeavor wherein after one day's work, gold is guaranteed. Its one thing if you pay for something to make the your life much easier. But its a completely different story if you have to start from scratch and make everything work for you.
The only thing i can say about mike is about the layout of his blog. A very few changes has been made from the original template. And considering his earnings, he can easily buy a domain name of his choice. But who knows, it may well be part and parcel of the idea of a Deep-thinker. what do you think? ;)
I look to Mike Perry with respect for what he has already accomplished. I sincerely do. And i look forward for a beneficial relationship with him in the future. And as of now, i consider his blog as "Kirbitz' Father blog."

By joining Agloco, youll have two ways of getting paid. Either by check/cash or by shares in the company and you have the option of redeeming your money when you want to in the future if you wish to take the chances with Agloco. It is projected that each member will earn around $5-$15 per month depending on the revenue that Agloco makes from ads. And theres a bonus each time you refer a member to Agloco which would earn you more money per sign-up each month. So, if you refer a member now, this will be added to your earnings next month.

Do you own a blog? If yes, then you might be well oriented about rankings of alexa, technorati, and just recently, Google PageRank. If your answer to the question is no, well, this serves as an additional knowledge for you as a reader to gauge how the bloggers work under the background of our blogs.
Ive seen this feature on enkay's blog. You remember the MP3 contest i entered? Yes, it was his idea. I thought about giving his pagerank promotion a try. And well, here it is. . .
Some notes of guidance:
- Use the right click + "view page source" way of copying the whole thing applicable for both IE and Mozilla. Also, use CTRL + F to quickly find "start copying here" if your using Mozilla. Its much easier that way. ;)
- Dont forget to notify the bloggers you added to this list.
- Comment on this post if you added this to your blog and i will directly add you and get a backlink from Kirbitz.
- GoodLuck on the next PR release! ;)

We all know how important getting link backs is and with this chain, you can get the ball rolling! You don’t have to be an established blogger to take part in this chain.
Here are the rules:
1. Copy this post from the point where it says “Start Copy Here” to the point where it says “End Copy Here”
2. Add yourself and 5 of your favorite bloggers to the end of the list.
3. Post this on your blog

I do hope that they are going to take part in this PR promotion as this will only bring a Win-Win situation to all of us.
This promotion is not only intended for high-ranked blogs only. This is for the "quantity" side of increasing your pagerank. So if youre thinking about getting more offers, more money from Paid posts like PayperPost, blogsvertise or ReviewMe, Then this is a step closer to that.
GoodLuck!

"just being a Filipino for Others"

This week has been so hectic for me that i have dozens of pending activies unmet. I had to burn my butt off over at dunkin donuts for the whole night just to study for my exams. And well, only time will tell about how i did on my exams. . .
Moving on, inspite of the sked that i had, i managed to complete some offers from blogsvertise. I managed to make 3 from them at $2 each but its still unpaid though. You can see my first ever sponsored post here. My blog also got accepted at sponsoredreviews. Ive noticed that they have the option of free-writing a post and then submit it to sponsors. And what sets it apart is that you make the bid on how much you want to be paid with each post. This, i think, is what separates them from the rest and im looking forward for a beneficial endeavors with this site soon. I think ill make a review about sponsoredreviews some time in the future so do watch out for that one.
In connection with sponsored posts, Kirbitz has been denied membership from Azoogle ads. They are only accepting sites who doesnt have a free site sponsor like blogger or wordpress. Im referring to those sites that end with a .com or a .net . Well, its ok. Maybe when i have my blog as kirbitz.com that would be cool. Not in the near future i suppose. ;)
I also encountered a dilemma this week. I just realized that Paypal is not yet available in the Philippines and i joined quite a number of sites that pays through paypal. My friend, Lady from SpaceofInfluence, advised me on this one. Much Thanks lady! I will attend to this one this week.
I made some plans for my pagerank performance. As you can see, my PR is still on n/a status. I a m going to make reviews in exchange for backlinks from other high-PR ranks. I made up connections with Carl from carlocab.com and melody from Marriedmelody.
Do watch out for my post about Paying sites. Im starting to do reviews of paying sites from the well established ones to the new-kid-from-the-block sites.

I was browsing through betshopboy's domain and noticed he did a review about Enkay's Blog. And after i saw the captions "Enkay's MP3/Video Player Giveaway", my mind was all centered on one thing, " I GOTA HAVE THAT MP3 PLAYER! ".
- Its a 1GB Beauty (wow! enough to accompany me for study marathons)
- w/ MiniSD slot Integrated Speaker on the back ( That means multi-media enjoyment. . yes!)
- w/ rock chip technology ( Ok, im not a tech geek. I dont know what this means. But it sounds good. hehe)
- And 2.0″ TFT Screen & an Aluminum Cased Back (now, this is what i like about this player. Its unique, its functional, it goes well with me. haha!)
And did i tell you he's also 19 just like me?!? An '88 born, dragon-spirited, young and wild! Well enkay, i hope this serves as an invitation for future endeavors together. .
Keep it up!
In the competitive world of blogging, only the strongest survives. And as a starting blogger like me, its not difficult to be devoured by the egoistic blogging giants, marketing tycoons and all the blah blahs. As a scientist would give his notion "Survival of the Fittest". Its every man for himself.
But how often do we encounter a bigtime blogger who is passionate, dedicated and generous to mere mortals like me? Well, look no further than Jon Lee.
Who is Jon Lee?
He is a web-developer, a blogger, a degree holder of education at queens University, a pokemon fanatic, a basketball fan and a public transit passenger. All of this traits mixed harmoniously into a delightful concoction with blue-berry cheesecake as dessert. Now, hows that for lunch?
Whats the fuss about his site?
Among other sites, jon is maintaining a Web Development Blog about his career in general. He tackles about everything from reviews on products (check out his latest) , internet services, websites and everything in between! Whats so unique about his blog is that, he always has his "Jon Lee trademark" on each and every post that he is making. Its got personality, attitude and most important of all, CHARISMA. No wonder he hes 234 readers and well, i wouldnt bet on it to decline in the coming months.
He also has contests in which Kirbitz joined personally. Check out his latest p2 slim mouse giveaway contest. And for my fellow bloggers : He's giving an opportunity for us to have a backlink from his site. All he asks is a review from our blog.
To sum up this post, I would just like to say that i have my utmost respect and admiration for this man. I dont know him personally, in fact im just a recent visitor to his blog. But one thing i can assure you, He is a Force to be Reckoned With.

For quite sometime now, ive been using Gomez Peer. It has been so integrated with my PC that i didnt even notice that Ive been earning slowly but surely. In fact, i didnt even include this in last month's earning. Imagine earning money on the internet while you are asleep--- Sounds too good to be true? Read on. . .
Gomez Peer is a company that does research, statistics and all those stuff related to the internet; its performance, and all the others in between. By running the Gomez PEER, you will also help provide the most realistic picture of Web performance as an individual user.
In order to get accepted, you need to meet the minimum requirements to be a peer. . .
- Complete the application form upon registering. - Just fill up the needed informations just like registering to any other site. Right now, Gomez is accepting more members from all over the world. And yes, everyone can earn.
- Download the Gomez Software - You earn by the processing time that your PC does for them and this varies from geographic location, internet connection and online time.
- Register a PayPal or E-gold Account - Youll get paid via paypal or e-gold. For those who have accounts on paypal already, theres no need to get another one. If you dont have a paypal account, get one here.
- 14 days evaluation time - As soon as you register, your account will be put on "pending" status and Gomez will review your geographic loaction and internet connection. 14 days is too long!? yes, but it doesnt really mean you have to wait for the entire 2 weeks. As soon as you turn on your account, youll start earning money. As for me, i got accepted after 2 days on pending status and changed it to "Active".
- And wait, there's more! - If you refer more members to Gomez, youll get $2 everytime your referral gets an Active Status.
Here's how Gomez is so Negligible, youll soon forget youre earning!

Its so small, you wont even think about it.
Talking about making your Pc a money making machine. . ;)
And the best part about it is its all for FREE!

Kirbitz Broke the 500k Technorati mark!
Posted by NurseJake Labels: earn money, internet, technorati, traffic
So, ive been trying to the best of my knowledge and abilities to increase my traffic, pagerank and blogging network. I previously wrote about my Part 1 of improving traffic into a blog, and made updates in increasing it. And who could ever forget my down-time? If your a Frequent reader of kirbitz, you know what i mean.
But i kept my head up, moved on, and hey, Broke the 500k mark on Technorati!
When i checked over my Technorati profile just a while ago, i was delighted to see that my ranking is 465,230 of all the blogs on technorati. Not bad for a 2 week old blog. Dont you think so? I dont mean to sound imposing but hey, its one of those times that you just have to pat your back and say "Great job, Kirby!". And honestly, im not stopping here. My short term goal is to increase about a couple of thousand ranks per week and a target of 100k-350k of ranking ao month. If all goes well, i would be on the peak on the end of my 3rd or 4th month. Quite ambitious i should say. But hey, to dream is free. And achieving it? Its priceless! But i do know this is easier said than done.
What did I do to increase rankings from a couple of millions to 460k? You might ask.
Here are the things I did for the past two weeks:
- Socialize. I blog-hopped and searched and if i find something of my liking, i never get shy to leave some love and drop some line in the comment box for the author. Just be sincere in every note that you leave. Authors will know if youre just saying "nice blog" jsut for the sake of it. Again, be sincere. ;)
- Dont be shy with faving. Whenever i saw a useful or comprehensive or unique or a mix of these qualities, i hit the fave button. Later on, when the blogger recognizes this, they might as well add you as their favorites. And that's just a bonus of being a generous in favoriting blogs.
- Content is the name of the Game. Ive had 2 blogs before kirbitz. The first one, died a natural death because of lack of readership and because i didnt know what to write about. I didnt have any ideas about it. The second blog Agloco-Pilipinas is still alive but I have inadequate sources about it, and the topic is so limited to quite a few.
- Make each reader a VIP. I constantly make it to a point that each reader is satisfied with each visit to Kirbitz. I added the FreeBie of the Week feature just this week. Up for grabs is Harry Potter Book 7 e-book.
I hope this gave you some pointers about making yourself visible in technorati world. Just remember, your Attitude counts the heaviest. ;)
Best of Luck!
