I was browsing through Macuha's Blog, a fellow filipino Blogger and i was taken into curiousity mode when i gone over his posts. A filipino is actually earning $19,000 on adsense alone per month! Good god, thats alot of money.

Wow! This is a pretty good thing to know. I HAVE JUST BEEN ELEVATED TO PR-3! The funny thing was that i didnt know about it until i bid for an opportunity for Payperpost.

Here's the story:

I was browsing through the opportunities offered on Payperpost and i noticed the available opportunities rose. I usually have 2 or 3 opportunities for my blog which had a PR -0 just yesterday and when i checked last night, it had risen to about 20 or 21. This took me by surprise and even wrote a ticket to Payperpost staff about me having the opportunities "not fit for my blog". Heck, it was just this morning when i realized I mistreated my blog in some way. lol

About a few weeks ago, ive posted about my hesitance in trying out the money making program named WidgetBucks. You can read my article here.

After using it for 2 days straight now on my three blogs, i only got a single click. Sounds bad, right? Well, there might be alot of contributing factors for this one: the ads displaying may not be of the great interest of my audience so i may have to revise on that one, another thing would be the blog placement, i may have to experiment on number of ways how to get my visitors to click on them.

With this being said, i have to set my notion clear that im trying this program to prove to my audience especially teens if widgetbucks can be a good source of money from blogging. So, stay tuned for more infos.

Finally, its my time to join the league of the other high-earning bloggers in the exciting world of blogosphere. Well, ive been accepted a couple of days ago and actually made 4 posts already which is worth $20 all in all. Im still a newbie and i have to go for the newbie-ish offers which generally costs minimal amount. But hey, not bad for someone who didnt know the meaning of the word "blog" three months ago.

Just a few months back, i never really thought that i could make money online because of one undeniable fact : I am a teenager. I thought my computer was only made to be used for online and offline games, some research if my mood lets me to, some chatting and myspace/friendster and thats it. As a filipino, im exposed to everyone flying abroad to make money and among the world's top places to work, everyone seems book flights to dubai and some families even visit their loved ones and spend the holidays in dubai. Ive been having this idea of changing my main blog's name into something that is more specific, something more defined and something that i can REALLY relate with. Given this, i wanted to target more people on my age, which is of course, the teens or teenagers but i was a bit hesitant as it might affect my search engine rankings but this morning, i pondered well about it and decided to finally go for it.

I realized the pertinent facts laid infront of me : Im blogging for 3 months now and with this, im receiving below 50 unique visitors per day, this alone tells me that theres something wrong. Furthermore, my PR is has not taken any level increase yet again, its something to improve upon. So, i did my research to change my name into "Teens Make Money with Kirby" and I used Google's Keyword Suggestions to find for the right keywords to go for. I wrote all the keywords with high search volumes with less competition. Moving on, i was very much surprised when i google searched the keyword "Teen Make Money" which has highest competition and search volumes, I was on the first page! I didnt know why or how but i guess its something that i have to capitalize on.

To sum it all up, i changed my title into "Teens Make Money with Kirby". Im not 100% certain about this but its a calculated risk of mine. So, lets see what happens. . .

Im a guy who wants things where it should be and stay there at all times, Im sure alot of you can relate with this one especially in the garage area of the house. Ive got a car and everything i need everything organized from the screw drivers down to the wiping mops. This is where garage cabinets come in very handy for me.

My blogging friends couldnt believe i stopped this blog for two weeks after 3 months of frequent posting. I told you guys where i was on this post. Well, my friend Jay is about to face the same fate. Its now his turn to go to Davao for his Psychiatric Exposure and be gone for two-weeks.

Yes, yes. . . I know what you are thinking. Its too early for me to be going to a hotel somewhere in the world with my payouts through blogging. Since I came back from Davao and this semester break started, i had nothing on my mind than blog, blog and blog all the time. Well, i guess this anxiety backfired and had me ask more than i could handle. Get this : I was able to start up 3 blogs in a span of like 3 days? haha! I was so overwhelmed with my free time that i just kept going and going. These are my three blogs, Everything Unusual, Celebrity Diseases and Amazing Health Facts.

What pushed me to come up with these blogs? Well, i guess its just the free time and the excitement of having it. I thought there wouldnt be any problems maintaing them but it didnt take long for me to realize that sooner or later, i wouldnt be able to attend to them. Statistics show that more and more people are opening blogs of there own in addition to the all other existing blogs. With this increase in number, im surprised because i see blogs that dont even have a single ad. Well, maybe its not that important for the author but when i gone through their blogs, i cant help it but drool over the opportunities and money earning potentials that they are missing. If you're a monetizing blogger, im sure you are at least familiar about this relatively new concept in monetizing blogs which is called the Widgetbucks. Lets start with the flesh of the story. The layout looks so good that it would be a better substitute for all other money-making programs on the internet today. See the pic.

Looks good doesnt it? Well, i have to give them credit for it but the question still linger on my mind. Is Widgetbucks a Scam?

I made this statement because the 10% affiliate share they are talking about is too high for a program. Even Amazon.com is having 4%-7% only of the affiliate income which is true to most online stores that i have encountered. And the $3 per 1000 CPM is too low for you to be wasting your precious space for it. Yes, its free to join and you wont loose anything by trying it out but im here to say, make a calculated guess, think about the time you will loose by trying it out. Wheew! That was a long title. Anyways, i was browsing through the pages of Lady and i found out that she is making more and more money gradually and along with this crescendo is her continuous adding of blogs, shes got quite a few already and shes planning to have more. Maybe i have to ask her about her reasons for doing so.

For now, let me dwell more on this program called Voxant (doesn't this sound like an antibiotic? lol) Newsroom. Its generally a site full of content in various multi media formats like videos, texts and more. They cover alot of general topics such as health, entertainment, politics etc. Ive tried viewing some vids and read some articles and well, i have to say they are pretty decent.

You can get paid by doing one simple thing: Just embed relevant contents to your blog or website, or if you dont have one, ask a friend who has a blog to include these videos for you (he'll probably apply it himself) and for each CPM or Cost per Thousand or per 1000 pageviews, youll earn corresponding amount depending on the format youre using; video feed earns you $4, video stories earns you $3 and texts would earn a decent $1. Your earning will be greatly affected by the number of visitors that would play your videos or read the articles.

Ive been very stressed out when i came back from my Psychiatric Exposure and upon seeing the updates of my blog, it just gone skyrocketing. First off, i missed ALOT of paid posts from blogsvertise, smorty and linkpost. This alone is dissapointing to a certain extent. Another thing is that my visits per day dropped to about 1/3! This is much; Too much if not. Well, i cant say it any better but the trip really contributed to the detriment of this blog.

Looking at the other side of the coin, my adsense account is steadily growing (keep clicking on them! lol) my adbrite is, well, pretty much the same but i expect it to rise sometime soon.

Well guys, i cant say anything more but just this : Dont dissapear like a bubble. Tell everyone when and how long you will be gone and tell them what to expect. Take my word for it, I learned it the hard way.

But its cool. I will definitely by keeping my head up on this. ;)

I know. . . I know. . . Ive been long gone and everyone especoially my blogging friends are very alarmed for the 2-week inactivity of Make Money With Kirby Blog. And i dont even know where to start explaining.


Where the hell was Kirby?

Well, here it goes. I was gone for two weeks because of my Psychiatric Nursing Exposure at Davao Medical Center which is about 5-6 hours away by bus from where i am residing.

Why was there no advance notice at all?

Its been pretty tough around here before i went to Davao City. First off, my computer broke down four days prior to my departure and i have no way of posting except by going to an internet cafe and start posting there which, for me, is unacceptable. I want every post on this blog to be as meaningful as possible and in a cafe, you just cant concentrate enough. Well, not in the Philippines at least.

For 2 weeks?? Are you kidding me?

You just cant imagine what i went through at Davao City. It was busy as Hell. Imagine making requirements until 3am in the morning and waking up at 6 for the 7-11 duty. After that, I have to prepare for the next day and again make requirements. This is how monotonous life is at Davao. But well, I enjoyed ALOT! Being able to appreciate the psychiatric nursing at the flesh and not on the textbooks is very interesting.

After all has been said and done, i have to sincerely and humbly apologize to everyone who visited this blog and well i guess has been disappointed for the lack of updates. And special shoutouts to Lady, Jay, Random and all the others.

I will make it up for all of you guys. I will double my effort for the lost time and well, money (i lost a considerable amount). This blog still is commited for you to Feed Your Greed.
