Just three weeks ago, i posted that i think widgetbucks is a scam and this single post attracted alot of people including the CEO of the company. No kidding! You can check it out on the comment on that post. Anyways, just a few days after that, I said im finally convinced to try widgetbucks inspite of the hesitance. Well, this is the time to give out my verdict.

I Just Had To Say Goodbye To Widgetbucks

This is a decision that i am very firm about and not even the CEO of the company would ever convince me to try it ever again. (Im willing to be challenged. ^_^) Now i have three main reasons why i do was firmly 'obligated' to stop using the program.

They just dont make money.
For every 10,000 page views i only get like 2-3 clicks and that means like its too low to make a decent payout after a hard month blogging. This is a fact that even other bloggers like Jack is convinced of. (He stopped using it before me)

Visitors are Intimidated with the Layout.
I have received comments about the ads as "intimidating" which scares off visitors from clicking them which is what i fear for when i use program. Other bloggers say its very clickable since it is a new layout and does not look like one. Well, i say it doesnt work that way, TRUST ME.

The Main Reason : Widgetbucks is banned by Google!
This is an info i got from my blog-hopping. Google found out that it is a "link ad" to put it simply which is against their terms of service. Not convinced yet? Try this out, if youre using widgetbucks or know any blog using it, close the window then turn off the javascript of your browser then look back again. You'll see that only links are left. Try it out! This one is not even reflected on the official blog of widgetbucks even if it stirs up controversies everywhere.

It has been nice seeing a new ad on my blogs but i guess i have to say goodbye to widgetbucks Permanently. Fellow bloggers, what do you say?

An Update About Using Widgetbucks

About a few weeks ago, ive posted about my hesitance in trying out the money making program named WidgetBucks. You can read my article here.

After using it for 2 days straight now on my three blogs, i only got a single click. Sounds bad, right? Well, there might be alot of contributing factors for this one: the ads displaying may not be of the great interest of my audience so i may have to revise on that one, another thing would be the blog placement, i may have to experiment on number of ways how to get my visitors to click on them.

With this being said, i have to set my notion clear that im trying this program to prove to my audience especially teens if widgetbucks can be a good source of money from blogging. So, stay tuned for more infos.

Is WidgetBucks a Scam?

If you're a monetizing blogger, im sure you are at least familiar about this relatively new concept in monetizing blogs which is called the Widgetbucks. Lets start with the flesh of the story. The layout looks so good that it would be a better substitute for all other money-making programs on the internet today. See the pic.
Looks good doesnt it? Well, i have to give them credit for it but the question still linger on my mind. Is Widgetbucks a Scam?

I made this statement because the 10% affiliate share they are talking about is too high for a program. Even Amazon.com is having 4%-7% only of the affiliate income which is true to most online stores that i have encountered. And the $3 per 1000 CPM is too low for you to be wasting your precious space for it. Yes, its free to join and you wont loose anything by trying it out but im here to say, make a calculated guess, think about the time you will loose by trying it out. I have nothing against it or anything, i just want to offer a well-reviewed program each time i recommend anything to my readers.

Am I going to Try it? Not in the near future im afraid. How about you? Its my standpoint and you can either take it or ignore it. For those who would ignore it, come back here after 2 weeks and ill be happy to hear from you.
